SoCal Zaadz Rendezvous - It's On!
Or, for all of you linguists out there, it's our very first Southern California "Renzaadzvous"!
There are so many awesome people here on zaadz! And I know I, for one, would like to meet, eat, build community, co-inspire and learn more about what everyone is doing.
That’s why I am helping the lovely Jessica Farley organize the first official Renzaadzvous in Southern California. It’s with the blessings of our dashing & saucy Zaadz team that she’s leading the charge, with the event being her first official project as an ambassador. The plan is for us to get together on Saturday, March 25th, 5pm, at California Vegan in West LA.
Here's the full scoop:
- Saturday, March 25th, at 5pm
- Meet at California Vegan for an early dinner, with the possibility of extending the evening for those interested at another local hang-out (TBD)
- CA Vegan is located at 12113 Santa Monica Blvd. - Upstairs, #207
- It's on the Northwest corner of Sant Monica & Bundy
- Serves delicious, nutritious, organic, vegan food - it's absolutely yummy!
- Check out the menu at http://www.californiavegan.com
- And, in case you get lost, the phone number is (310) 207-4798
To make sure we have the reservation in place, please give me a final RSVP via Zaadz mail no later than Monday, March 20th, at noon.
I’ve already met with many people from Zaadz and they have all been amazing. I'd love to meet you all as well!
Nancy

Oh, this is awesome! Go Jessica!
But..but i'm not in california! Is there a webex or dial-in number or something? hehe… well, have fun, everyone :) I'll catch the next one
ROb may be on to something. Perhaps we could have the Zaadz local rendezvous featured on a Podcast for all Zaadzsters with web access to see. Or make it a downloadable file.
Discuss it more here too: Renzaadzvous.
So close yet so far away - too bad for this NoCal Zaadzster. Perhaps Jodi L. and I can make the next one! Have a great time!
:-( I want to live in America too! )-:
I'm so excited to meet a bunch of Zaadzsters this weekend!
And, at the same time, bummed that many of you won't be able to attend. =(
Kelly, of course you know you'll be missed. And Leendert, we want you to live in America too. =) Julia, I think it's a great idea to take a road trip - or maybe even sponsor a Northern California Renzaadzvous so we can take a road trip! Two different people this week told me about a great place in SF called Cafe Gratitude - sounds like the perfect place for a Zaadz get-together.
Tru & Rob - a Podcast would be cool. However, having dinner at a restaurant might not be the best venue for it (can't imagine it would be too interesting for people viewing). We'll definitely have to think about it for next time, though. This time, I'll do my best to have someone take pictures of the crew to share with all of our fellow Zaadzsters.
Have a blessed day, my friends!
I'm too late and too far but I'm hoping that Zaadsters had a wonderful and enriching time together……I'm being challenged up here in smalltownNorthernOntario….vegan restaurant?….we dream of that some day….savour and enjoy life with access and wish me the best in dealing with what I've got….it's amazing how creative one gets when one has little to work with….peace.
