Two Things

The First Thing:
I had a magnificent experience today that is leading me to more and more trust. I woke up this morning to two e-mails from people attending my workshop (who had already sent me money), saying they needed to cancel. I was totally bummed, but made the decision to be happy with and celebrate whatever came forward. And then, within 2 hours, I had 3 more people sign up! Not only did I get back the 2, but I even gained one more! Boy, the Universe is abundant.
I was also stressing this morning about not having enough time to get stuff done. Happily, just when I thought I would have to give up some of the things I really wanted to do for myself, a client called and cancelled a meeting.
I am so happy that this stuff happens over and over to me. Just when I don't think I have enough time, money, etc. - a door always opens up! Truly magnificent - I am absolutely blessed. And, I am so grateful for the trust that continues to grow.
The Second Thing:
You know those movies with the isolated rich kid who wants to go out on their own without the benefit of money so they can experience "the real world"? Hey - that's me! I'm learning all sorts of cool ways to cut back on money - and, I've decided to have fun doing it! In fact, every time I learn something new (like, how I can take my 3 gallon bottle of water to be refilled for 75 cents at the grocery store vs. spending $5 with Arrowhead) I feel like a giddy little school kid. I don't really think it's the money as much as it is the totally new experiences. Pretty cool. I also don't know if the elation will last forever, but I'll take it for now!

Yay Nancy. Now the right three new people will be there and the two, whom the Universe made other plans for at the last minute, are free to do what they are meant to also. Beautiful! Yes, isn’t it awesome how abundant the Universe is once we finally open ourselves to receive? So happy for you!
I LOVE a bargain. Even if I can pay full price for something it doesn’t seem as fun (or sustainable) as finding ways to get it at a discount or reuse/recycle/etc. So here’s a little trivia for you from Jane Goodall’s new book: Harvest For Hope…..
She explains that it takes as much water to produce the plastic bottle that water is packaged in as it does to fill it. Then add to that all the gas that it takes to ship it to the market. By refilling your bottle(by necessity) you are actually making a HUGE sustainable difference for our planet. Go you giddy little school girl you!
Hey, that’s great stuff, Nancy! The “what comes, comes” attitude is an awesome way to lead life. That positive attitude itself is exactly Why these doors keep opening up! It’s one of those things that can’t be explained to the pessimists…If they just improved their outlook, their outlook would improve. Funny, eh?
And yes, it’s a lot more fun to find deals then it is to just throw money at something. Good revelation!
I love bargains and saving money, too… and I’m so glad to know that you got people signing up to replace (and then some) those who cancelled!

That sounds like a “prosperity experience”! I am taking a course called “the 4Ts” through Unity (the metaphysical Christians, what I call them) - that uses affirmation-based prayer as a means of creative manifestation. People will start looking at their lives through the lens of prosperity, and have amazing experiences and synchronicities happen…

I too am in a place where the universe challenges my faith that things will come to me. As a Massage Therapist, I need a certain number of clients to make a living. Right now I’m at about half of what I need. some weeks I am getting a few more, some weeks a few less. But the general trend is upwards and my clients are telling their friends and doing what they can to help me. And, like you, somehow when I am panicing about how to fit everything I have to do into a day, a client will call and cancel - often right before I call to ask if we can change the appointment. And when I turn my energy to one particular aspect of my life, things come to me in abundance…
There are days I still struggle with the faith that things will work out….but mostly I too am enjoying the process.
Amazing. Enlightening. Fun.

My mom used to tell me to see the ” Magic ” in everything and that the ” Universe provides “…I love getting affirnmations from the Universe in the form of abundance ( Be it monatary, friendships, love, the right person showing up, etc..)
The Universe is full of abundance and there is PLENTY to go around!!!
