Work or Play?

Hello my friends! I read a great quote just now and thought I would share. It's particularly relevant given my endeavors in owning my own business.
"The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which; he simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both." ~ Buddha
The quote couldn't have come at a more perfect time - just when I'm needing a boost to finish writing my website copy. Another little miracle. Thank you, Universe!

I like that quote! Something to aspire towards for me… I do like where I work… but I couldn't say that the line between work/play has been blurred enough yet. Can't wait to see the website!! Kudos to you, my friend!!
Oh, How I love the Buddha! I understand this so well, Why did I thought I was wrong all along these years, when actually the Buddha was right all the time. Like he always is.

Thanks for this REMINDER!

Very awesome quote, Nancy! Very inspiring, as well as frustrating…at least to somebody (it's me!) that's experiencing a bit of writer's block in the career-choice arena…
Thanks for a thought to carry through the morning :)
What a beautiful quote. It's something I wish I could always keep in mind. At least it's there now (thank you!)—I'm going to go and try to make some use of it.
Yes, thanks for the reminder, Nancy!
Can't wai to see your website…
Wonderful and inspiring!! I work w/ my family and I'm always trying to make our business more fun! My brother tells me it's just work and it doesn't have to be fun…I say to him..” We spend several hours a day here at work, might as well have fun “!!!
Blessings and love,
Ariel:)
Beautiful quote! Can't wait to see your new website. Do share the link with us when it is finished. Love ya!
A wonderful and timely quote– thank you! There is a secret there– to find balance between what you DO and who you ARE, in such a way that DO-ing is merely an extension of BE-ing.
Thanks for the comment Peter. An art, indeed! One of my goals is to make DO-ing and BE-ing seamless - with it all netting out to BE-ing.
Ariel - keeping bringing on the fun! Your joy will definitely catch on - it's infectious!
ROb - as I said on your blog, I know you are well on your way to calling forward the perfect career that's already inside of you. Powerful stuff!
Kelly, Leendert, Maile, Korenna & Shelly - you guys rock! You are such a source of inspiration for me every single day and I am so grateful to see your smiling faces on my blog!
Thank you all for your comments and positive energy! I will definitely share my website with you when it's complete. In the meantime, I'm sending lots of love your way!
I am new to this Zaadz blog stuff so I am just randomly going through posting my thoughts. I am sure there is a purpose to this random posting; i am just not sure what. I would like to comment on the perfect timing of the universe “wow, spot on…spot on!” Next I would like to tell you that the consciousness of the collective is what makes zaada such a great medium to spread the love.
Mooby - Welcome to Zaadz! It's an amazing place to share thoughts and learn from one another. I totally agree that the consciousness of the collective is what makes Zaadz an incredible place - especially the desire for us all to lift our levels of consciousness, and the consciousness of the planet. Pretty cool. I look forward to sharing more and more wisdom with each other in this Wonderful World of Zaadz!
Just stumbled across your 'quote'.
I make films about this, thought you might like them - do take a look around www.monday9am.tv. Full archive up soon to view.

Nic,
I love your film! Interestingly, tonight I'm teaching a workshop on self-nurturing and the idea of living/working/etc. from the overflow created through self-nurturing/self-care. We'll be talking about “play” a lot and how it adds to our creativity. So, your film was PERFECT! In fact, I've passed on the URL to my workshop participants.
Your films are a great gift, and I'm looking forward to watching many more!
Much love,
Nancy
